Dear Grandad,
It may have been better when you were here but I know you will be with us all of the time.
My best memories of grandad were when he took me to school.
When we went on the trampoline we would go super high just to get grandad to tell us off.
I love you grandad so much.
Lots of love Jessica x x x

Peter,
There are no words that give justice to how much I appreciate everything you did for us.
You moved your whole life to live somewhere without a train station!!!!
I thank you for every wet school run, every timestable you marked and well quite frankly everything you did that glued our family together.
You may not be here now and it makes me really sad to think you won’t see our gorgeous girls grow up. That being said a piece of you lives on in them. You have put so much hard work into moulding them and I know they will do you proud.
We have shared many funny memories over the years like when you walked into the patio doors and everyone else just carried on whilst you fell backwards into the plant pots!!!
Another moment we (not you) found funny was when Meg got into your lounge and stole your lamb!
Anyway, it’s the day of your funeral - I hope we do you proud. I kept my promise, I’ve used your songs and I’ve even found a special poem that I think you’d really appreciate!
I know your lasting concern was for Audrey. I promise we’ll do as we said, we’ll take good care of her and try to keep her shopping under control.
I miss you with all of my heart and I know we didn’t go in for all the mushy stuff, so in the words of the best father-in-law ever ‘you work’ and I’ll go and make you proud with the beef for today.
We truly have lost a very important piece of our puzzle, we’ll never be complete without you.
Lots and lots of love Rachel x x x
